Attention NFL fans! This fall, Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce is trading his cleats for chills as he joins the cast of Ryan Murphy’s highly anticipated horror series, “Grotesquerie.”
This marks Kelce’s first major acting role, venturing beyond his comedic cameos on “Saturday Night Live” and the Showtime series “Moonbase 8.”
Ryan Murphy, the mastermind behind chilling shows like “American Horror Story” and “Ratched,” is at the helm of “Grotesquerie.”
Kelce will be sharing the screen with a stellar cast, including Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and British actress Lesley Manville.
The plot of “Grotesquerie” remains tightly under wraps.
While the exact premiere date hasn’t been announced, “Grotesquerie” is slated to hit FX this fall. So, mark your calendars and prepare to be scared.

Chiefs Miss Golden Opportunity to Fix WR Problem

The number of available free agent wide receivers is dwindling by the day, as the Tennessee Titans reportedly agreed to a one-year deal up to $4.5 million with former Bengals wideout Tyler Boyd.
Kansas City still has a need at wide receiver pending a potential Rashee Rice suspension, and snagging Boyd at such a low cost could’ve alleviated any concerns about the group to begin the year.
For a receiver with two 1,000-yard seasons under his belt and four straight years of at least 667, a number that would’ve been the second-most of any Chiefs wideout, a contract up to $4.5 million is one I would’ve done personally.
Free Agent WR Tyler Boyd Signs With Titans
One of my takeaways from the Chiefs minicamp is that the three days with Xavier Worthy left KC comfortable where the receiver room is right now. There was interest at one time for Boyd but not now. https://t.co/v7Xv2Trp2v

Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com notes that Kansas City once had interest in Boyd, but it sounds like the Chiefs are comfortable with their roster as things stand.
That could mean they don’t expect a suspension for Rashee Rice until next year, which is possible as the legal process plays out, or they could just really have faith in Hollywood Brown and Xavier Worthy, who reportedly looked great at minicamp. Their infatuation with Kadarius Toney could play a role too.
Whatever the case, only a handful of proven wide receivers remain free agents. Mecole Hardman and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are two of them, though the Chiefs could pull off a trade as well if they prefer.
I have the utmost faith in Brett Veach, Andy Reid, and Patrick Mahomes no matter what. If they believe the Chiefs have enough to compete, I’m inclined to believe them. That being said, it still hurts to lose out on potential improvement, espeically at that cost. Taking a player away from the Bengals? That would’ve just been a cherry on top.
