The San Francisco 49ers truly have one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Brock Purdy.
Take it from former 14-year NFL quarterback, who told The 33rd Team where he has Purdy ranked.

Purdy is certainly proof that teams can find great quarterbacks anywhere.
The 2022 Mr. Irrelevant draft pick has gone on to take the NFL by storm with his elite play over his first few seasons.
He made his first Pro Bowl in 2023 after leading the league in passer rating (113.0).
The former Iowa State star had a near-70% completion rate, threw for over 4,200 yards, and he added in 33 total touchdowns in 2023 too.
He helped the San Francisco 49ers take another step with him under center as they made the Super Bowl this season after losing in the NFC Championship Game two years ago.
It is very hard to argue with Purdy’s play and his importance to San Francisco.
After all, he has led the 49ers to a total record of 21-6 over two seasons, including the playoffs.
Look for him to soon be fairly compensated for the elite play that he has put on tape.
