After another disappointing season for the storied New England Patriots franchise, owner Robert Kraft and company chose to make some drastic changes heading into the NFL offseason, with the team finally parting ways with longtime head coach Bill Belichick.
Along with parting ways with Belichick, the Patriots have made a ton of moves to retain some of the key players like Hunter Henry and Kendrick Bourne or add to the squad with the likes of Jacoby Brissett and Antonio Gibson.
After two less-than-stellar seasons with the Patriots, veteran wide receiver DeVante Parker left the team in NFL free agency by agreeing to a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
With Parker not exactly living up to expectations in the two seasons in New England, the team’s pro shop is getting rid of his No. 1 jersey by simply giving it away for free via Dov Kleiman.

Nothing says it was a forgettable stint like jerseys going on sale or, in this case, being given away for free, unless the Patriots pro shop made a mistake.
This kind of thing happens every year when players sign elsewhere or, get moved as a result of a trade or being released by the team.
However, the team’s pro shop simply giving away these jerseys is new, but they might be desperate to move them with no one buying his jersey while he was with the team, and now that he’s moved on, it has gotten even worse.
With Parker now in Philadelphia, the Patriots will turn to the recently signed K.J. Osborn, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings, to fill the void at wide receiver.
